We are very excited to announce our new partnership with ALDEMA, an organization that shares our commitment to community development and supporting young rural people in the departments of Madriz and Nueva Segovia, Nicaragua.

Get to know our new partner in Nicaragua:

ALDEMA is a non-profit organization with a lot of experience and leadership in managing and implementing actions for sustainable development of the people they serve. They also promote respect, gender equality, and identity preservation.

With this new partnership, CoCoDA and ALDEMA will join efforts to help people in rural communities to achieve their goals by supporting students in high school or university, with scholarship programs so that they can continue to study. Even though the education is free in Nicaragua, transportation, food or buying books could prevent a student from going to school. CoCoDA and ALDEMA will also help a community in the indigenous municipally of Mozonte, Nueva Segovia, to have small but very important community center.

CoCoDA stays connected to communities for years. Thanks to ALDEMA, CoCoDA will have the opportunity to continue to support rural communities that we first visited in 2015 when we came for the first time to Nicaragua, and counting with great people like you, people who cares about others, with ALDEMA we hope to expand our to new communities.
